Vlc[/caption]In the previous post i have described how to convert videos to mp3 just using Vlc media player in this post i am going to discuss How to convert videos of one format to another using just vlc media player . Lets start
1) Open Vlc media player
2) Go To media menu and click on convert/save option Or click CTRL+R
3) In File tab of " open media " window , click on add button and add the file which you want to convert . You can also add multiple files at once .
4) Now click on convert/save button located at lower right corner of Open media window .
5) Now the convert window will be shown up . Go to settings field and select the profile of your need . To further customize the converted output click on settings button in profiles field . Now go to video codec tab and go to Scale option and specify the desired width and height of video .
*For Mobile phone its better to select mobile phones default w/h , for eg. if your Mobile phone is of 320x240 set it in width/height field .
6) Now click on save button.
7) Go to destination field and click on browse to select destination folder . In save file dialog - type nameoffile.mp4/your desired format and click on save .
8) Now click the start button and wait until video is converted fully .
9) Go to destination folder and Get your converted video .
Thats all You need to convert videos using Vlc media player .
