Linux[/caption]Hi guys today i came up with new post named " Why to use Linux " . In this Post i'll discuss about why to use linux , what are the benifits of using linux , who mainly use it etc . Hope you'll enjoy it .

2) Linux is secure . Tired from viruses , worms , registry errors , blue screen of death etc..etc.. Jump into linux world , You'll be free from most known security threats in windows .
3) Linux has thousands of choice . Bored from using Windows / Mac for Long time ? want to taste something special ? ever Want the operating system having thousands of choice ? Try linux You'll have 1000's of choice ..Go with any -which suits you .
4) Everything is free . In linux Not only Operating System but everything is free . Why to pay thousand of dollars for applications and games . Taste linux ,You'll Get Thousands of apps and games for cost of 0$ .Try linux Feel the power of free world .

11) Driver ...? After installation of new operating system You have to install most of drivers like ethernet, wifi ,graphics ,sound, keypad etc. manually in windows. Sometime Finding drivers become so much difficult for You . My laptop still do'not have wifi driver . MEans drivers are big mess for Windows but in linux ? , Its not the case . Its like getting a driver freely when we buy vehicle . In linux You do'not have to install drivers manually . Linux has monolithic kernel means all drivers are preinstalled with os .
12) All necessary softwares preinstalled . In windows or mac you'll have to install each compulsory softwares like media player , web browser , pdf reader, video
converter etc . manually . But in linux ?? you don't need to install compulsory software yourself . All the important softwares like photo viewer , photo editor , media player etc comes pre-installed with Operating system. Isn't it great ?
13) Catagorized start menu : In windows - after installation of new application it goes to start menu and You'll have to search it manually . What You'll do if You forgot the application name ..? Read the whole application list one by one . In linux all applications are categorized . Suppose you need photo editor - Just go to graphics menu, suppose you need video editor - just go to multimedia . Thats so simple and managed .And You can also search as you did in windows . Isn't it great ?
14) Too many windows opened in desktop , oh no place left ! . Its the common problem for every windows user . After opening too many windows Your desktop/taskbar becomes heavy and unmanagable also. In linux forget about it . You'll have multiple desktops . Suppose You need to open 4 application like web browser , video converter , photo editor , notepad at same time. Just go to desktop 1 and open browser , Go to Desktop 2 and open Photo editor . When You need browser go to desktop 1 , when you need Photo editor go to desktop 2 . It makes your desktop managable , light and organized . You can also set different background for Each desktops.
15) Computer getting slower and slower day by day ! its the story of most of the window users . In linux the performance of your system becomes stable for long time . As you donot have to fight virus , worms or other security threats , stability is maintained as it is .Windows has a number of flaws in its design , which makes it slower and slower day by day . For linux user ( To myself ) its not the issue . The Linux which i've installed 6 monts ago - works perfectly as it has worked 6 months ago .
