What to do if your pendrive showed lesser size Than that of its original size ?
Hi guys sometime your pendrive shows lesser size than that of its original size , for example recently my 4 gb pendrive shows only 2.5 MB .
This problem not went away just by formatting your pendrive or by checking disk for errors . This problem can be solved in following way .
1) First format the pendrive Normally
2) Then download the tiny application named HP USB DISK STORAGE FORMAT TOOL , From this softpedia link .

3) Now Open the downloaded program and select device,filesystem and click format .
4) Now go to Explorer and watch the size of Your USB . NOw this size shrinking problem has gone away .
Its so much easy . Without knowing this simple trick most of peoples call their pendrive damaged and donot use it But actually it's not damaged . Its mostly due To
filesystem viruses or disk formatting errors .
